Delegate ParentResolver

Callback delegate for lazy parent CHD resolution. Called when a child CHD needs to read a parent-referenced hunk but no parent was explicitly provided at open time.

public delegate ChdFile? ParentResolver(byte[]? parentSha1, byte[]? parentMd5)

Parameters

parentSha1 byte[]: The SHA1 hash of the expected parent (V3-V5), or null if not available.
parentMd5 byte[]: The MD5 hash of the expected parent (V1-V3), or null if not available.

Returns

ChdFile: An opened ChdFile for the parent, or null if the parent cannot be resolved. The returned instance must remain valid for the lifetime of the child that references it.
